IN-PATIENT AND OUT-PATIENT SERVICES
The pharmacy serves primarily the requirements of inpatients and their visitors, but also serves out-patients 24/7. Our special lane for certified senior citizens and persons with disability ensures priority service is given to the elderly and the handicapped. In addition, it is equipped with pharmacy refrigerators for storage of cold-chain medicines. Drugs and medical supplies are available round-the-clock.
NEW AND IMPROVED STORE FACILITIES
The newly renovated pharmacy at its convenient location is spacious for the comfort and convenience of patients and customers. It is ideally situated beside the Emergency Room and quite accessible to the major Ancillary Services such as the Laboratory and Heart Station.
PAPER TABLET COMPOUNDING SERVICE
Paper tablets are usually prescribed for dosages of tablets or capsules that are less than those commercially available. The CLDH Pharmacy is the only one offering paper tablet compounding services in the Province of Tarlac and even in adjacent cities and municipalities. Our qualified and duly licensed pharmacists are available to serve patients’ requests for paper tablets day in and day out.
CONVENIENCE STORE ITEMS
Some non-medical items are needed by both patients and their visitors. The pharmacy offers a wide selection of basic convenience store items such as instant noodles, personal care items, bottled mineral water, etc. We are constantly adding more goods to make our patients’ and visitors’ stay in the hospital as pleasant as possible.
HOT AND COLD BEVERAGE VENDO MACHINES
Very affordable beverages are available at any time of the day or night from the vendo machine beside the Pharmacy. For just P 12.00, patients and their visitors can have a cup of their favorite Nescafe hot gourmet drinks such as Cappuccino (with or without sugar), Café Latte (with or without sugar), Café Mocha, and Milo. Regular coffee is available for P 10.00 per cup. Very soon ice-old Coke products, iced tea, lemonade, iced coffee, and cold chocolate will also be available at affordable prices, along with hot freshly-brewed coffee.
NEW PRODUCTS/SERVICES COMING SOON!
For the convenience of both patients and their visitors, we are constantly adding more non-medical products. Very soon we will have Ice Cream Products, Ice cubes, and other food items. We are planning to make available non-food items as well, such as cellphone cards.
PHARMACY STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
CLDH believes in the value of education, in general, and the need for quality Pharmacy education, in particular. We encourage suitably qualified BS Pharmacy students from any duly affiliated Pharmacy school to have their internship with us.
We provide valuable hands-on training on the basic concepts of dispensing, compounding, and product knowledge about the various essential drugs. We will accommodate requests for Internship on a first-come-first-serve basis. For inquiries on the requirements, contact the Chief Pharmacist at Local 166.
