Benjamin S. Paz, MD, FPSGS, FPCS, President and Chairman of the Board, announced that during the Board meeting held earlier this year, Victor S. De Villa, MD, FPSP, FPSO, was appointed as the interim Medical Director pending the formal assumption of Godofredo V. Dungca III, MD, FPOA, FPCS, of the same position on July this year. Dr. de Villa is the Chair of CLDH's Department of Pathology.
Meanwhile, Mary Agnes C. Ibuan, MD, FPPS, is to remain as the Chief-of-Clinics in a hold-over capacity. Dr. Ibuan is also the Chair of the Training and Records committee.
Rudy Q. Vigilia, MD, FPOA, FPCS, who continues to serve in the Board of Directors, was the previous Medical Director.

The Christmas party was a organized by patients and their relatives to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and to bouy up spirits of the patients and their watchers.
This is an annual event designed to cheer patients and to help foster a supportive network among relatives of patients who are undergoing treatment.
Godofredo V. Duncga III, MD, FPCS, FPOA, former member of the CLDH Board of Directors and Chief of Clinics, was elected back as member of the Board during the stockholders meeting at the Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital Audio-Visual Room last December 15. Dr. Dungca replaces Silvestre S. Talon, MD, FPCR, who opted to step down from the Board in 2011.

The Philippine Society of Quality in Healthcare (PSQua) conducted twin seminar/workshops in CLDH from September 27 to October 1, 2010. This is part of management's continuing program on quality improvement at CLDH.
